My Top 50 Marvel Comics Characters: (#'s 50-26)
Growing up I always dreamed of being a Marvel Comics artist. Mark Gruenwald, (one time editor in chief of Marvel) was a student of my Dad's at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh and that gave me extra inspiration that I could make it there one day. Eventually my interests steered towards animation, but I still would like to illustrate a comic for Marvel one day if I got the opportunity. Here are the first 25 characters in my top 50 list. (#'s 25-#1 will get posted some other day, but it might take awhile). Once I finish all 50 my plan is to auction the original art on ebay and donate the proceeds to MS research. More on that whenever I finish the rest.

AWESOME!!! These are so cool! Im not a comic book nerd so apart from the characters that have been featured in moviues I dont know most of them, but the drawings and the poses and energy are so amazing!!! Valkyrie is a particular favourite!
Maybe this will be your audition for Marvel!

These are really great, very charming. Black Bolt is my favorite. Not to be a downer, but Sunfire's facial features seem a bit racially insensitive.

Thank you all for the great comments! I actually drew these last spring and held off on posting them cause I was frustrated with how they turned out. Shows what I know. I can't believe there's been almost 6000 visits in the last 2 days!!! I've got 13 left to draw and then I'll post the rest and put them up for sale on ebay.
@ Leaf- I had to look up what mass spectrometry was and it hurt my brain! ;) The "MS" I was refering to was Multiple sclerosis. I'm no where near smart enough to comprehend mass spectrometry.

Oh my gosh, this is so awesome, if you ever drew the Hulk, I'd start buying it again. I think American comics take themselves too serious. I like your humorous approach.

Like someone said earlier...i'm totally taking this idea and doing my top 50 too..... I love the corner box framing device for the spot illustrations and especially your numbering system as the issue #... BRILLIANT..........What fantastic interpretations, I really got a kick out of Mysterio's sleepy eyes in the broaches on his chest.. LOL!
